and don’t get caught up in fights with people from your past. The ones that hate and keep trying to pull you down are gone from you for a purpose. Don’t erase them. Don’t act like they’re not real. Just don’t honor them with your attention. Every second you waste fighting people who don’t care is time you aren’t celebrating your future with the people you love. Be gracious and loving in the face of negativity. Know that not everyone will care about you even if you let them close. Pay attention to who a person talks about. If they talk about themselves only that’s where they’re focused. Remember to love people even when they’re trying their best to hurt you. It’s ok to check and see if people are ok. Be thankful when good things happen to other people. And please smile some. Everyone is more beautiful with a smile.
